The events happened about 8 weeks apart this past Sept and October and left me confused at the lack of interest of those around me when I had these major sightings.

Mystery Lights Over The Midlands

A “spectacular” display of dozens of UFOs has been reported in the skies over the West Midlands.
Eyewitnesses told Sky News that up to 70 bright circular objects could be seen near Halesowen.

Stunned residents watched in disbelief, convinced they were viewing an extra-terrestrial spectacle.

Each object was encircled with lights and had lights in the middle, according to witness Steven Randall who lives in Halesowen with is wife and three children.

He said: “This was incredible and so spectacular. The lights seem to climb into the sky to the north of us, just before 8pm last night.

“A neighbour had shouted for us to come and look. There were so many objects. From a distance they looked like bubbles rising in a fizzy drink.

“Then they came towards us and flew right over the top. Some were so close they were almost touching and were only a hundred feet or so above us. Read more …

RAF pilots have tried to BLAST UFOs out of the sky under a top secret Government directive, it was claimed last night!

Nick Pope — who worked on the Ministry of Defence’s UFO desk for three years — revealed the rules of engagement for the first time.

He claimed RAF pilots had fired at UFOs on several occasions — but failed to bring them down.

He added: “We know of cases where the order has been given to shoot down — with little effect to the UFO.”

Mr Pope said the rules of engagement were drawn up after dozens of close encounters with suspect craft in British airspace.

RAF attacks on UFOs were “not automatic but happen when something in our airspace is deemed to be a threat”. Read more …

UFO on the Moon in Apollo Days-Debunked? Review

In UFO on the moon in Apollo Days? You decide I posted a photograph that is alleged to be an official NASA photograph showing a UFO observing activities of Apollo 14 in 1971.

I had searched the NASA GRIN (Great Images in NASA) database for both numbers assigned to the photo, as well as performing a web search. I was unable to find any photo online with those numbers, although they are apparently NASA sequence numbers.

Of course, not all NASA photos may be online. So I dug a little deeper.

Shown above is an authentic NASA Apollo 14 image (#AS14-66-9306). Look at the lower right–see the bursts of color? Another UFO photo?

Nope.

It shows Antares on the Frau Mauro Highlands on Feb. 5, 1971. And here’s the explanation NASA provided:

A front view of the Apollo 14 Lunar Module “Antares”, which reflects a circular flare caused by the brilliant sun. The unusual ball of light was said by the astronauts to have a jewel-like appearance. At extreme left, the lower slope of Cone Crater can be seen.

For good measure, I found another Apollo 14 photo with lights nearby. This is #AS14-67-9367. cropped to accent the lights in the right corner. Read more …

Twenty UFOs Spotted Flying in Formation Over England

Stunned families watched as more than 20 UFOs buzzed over awestruck Britain Sunday.

The lights in the sky lined up in a flying formation before disappearing upwards into space.

One close-encounter snap was taken by quick-thinking engineer Paul Slight, on his mobile phone at about 10:30 p.m. local time.

He was coming home from a day out cycling with friends in Lincoln, eastern England, when they spotted the lights in the sky. Read more …
