UFO Enthusiasts Call on Obama to Release X-Files. Will He Do?

Desperate to see the US emulate the British Government and disclose reported “contact” with UFOs, the enthusiasts have written to Mr Obama to ask that his administration comes clean about the contents of America’s “X-Files”.

They believe they have good prospects of success after public statements of support from both John Podesta, who is running Mr Obama’s White House transition team, and Bill Richardson, the Governor of New Mexico - a UFO sighting hotspot - who is expected to secure a cabinet post. Read more …

Video: Will Barack Obama Open the X-Files (UFO Investigations) to the Public?

UFO enthusiasts have their own PAC. The Extraterrestrial Phenomenon Political Action Committee is gathering signatures in the days leading up to President-Elect Obama’s inauguration in an effort to get the new President to disclose military “contacts” with UFOs. The EP PAC believes that it is time for the US to open the so called “X-Files” to the American public, following Britain’s example last year.

The EP group are optimistic because John Podesta, head of President-elect Obama’s White House transition team, has voiced his support for opening the files to the public.

Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico is another UFO aficionado who is expected to have a cabinet position in President-elect Obama’s administration. With Podesta and Richardson on board, the EP group believes they have a chance at getting the so-called X-Files released to the public.

Video: UFO Monitors Shuttle at Space Station Debunked?

Yesterday I posted a video that some believe shows UFOs monitoring the docking of space shuttle Endeavour at the International Space Station (ISS). It’s led to some pretty lively commentary from readers.

Here’s my personal opinion:the blinking lights are simply space debris. Space debris, as shown in the photo above, has turned near space into basically an orbiting junkyard. Space station crews have had to maneuver the orbiting outpost to avoid debris collison.

Space Shuttle Endeavour and the STS-126 crew, now enroute home, had to delay their journey for several hours in order to avoid the possibility of a collision with some space debris. NASA tracks space junk, and a critical part of mission planning and safety is to keep vehicles out of danger. Read more …

The events happened about 8 weeks apart this past Sept and October and left me confused at the lack of interest of those around me when I had these major sightings.

In my articles I wrote about the almost obstinate refusal of the public to pay attention to their surroundings. Halesowen “UFO” Mystery - Truth Revealed

The truth could well be out there - just not necessarily in Halesowen.

Stunned residents believed they were witnessing a UFO display after seeing a “long string of lights” moving slowly over the town at around 7.30pm on Thursday.

RAF pilots have tried to BLAST UFOs out of the sky under a top secret Government directive, it was claimed last night!

Nick Pope — who worked on the Ministry of Defence’s UFO desk for three years — revealed the rules of engagement for the first time.

He claimed RAF pilots had fired at UFOs on several occasions — but failed to bring them down.

He added: “We know of cases where the order has been given to shoot down — with little effect to the UFO.”

Mr Pope said the rules of engagement were drawn up after dozens of close encounters with suspect craft in British airspace.

RAF attacks on UFOs were “not automatic but happen when something in our airspace is deemed to be a threat”. Read more …
