Take a look back at the films of 2008 and which were money makers, its an impressive list of films! From Nielson we have the final numbers on the Top 10 Grossing films of 2008. For a change I can say that most of the films that made this list are very much deserving with few exceptions.
It is of course important to keep in mind that by the end of the year these numbers will very likely change drastically. The data does not include any holiday Box Office numbers and the Holidays are a HUGE draw for movie goers. As it stands right now though here are the Top 10 Money Makers of 2008
1 The Dark Knight Warner Bros. $530,540,881
2 Iron Man Paramount $318,313,199
3 Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Paramount $317,023,851
4 Hancock Sony $227,946,274

Dark Knight, Iron Man and Hancock were all fun comic book flicks that I enjoyed immensely. Hancock was a bit over rated but still a fun action comedy with a hero twist. Wall-E goes without saying is one of the best films I have seen in a VERY long time. It is a must buy! Read more …
