Petra Němcová (IPA: [ˈnjɛmtsovaː], pronounced NYEMtzovah; born 24 June 1979 in Karviná, Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic) is a supermodel and the founder and president of Happy Hearts Fund. In December 2004, she was injured in Thailand by a tsunami resulting from the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake; her then-fiancé, Simon Atlee, was killed in the tsunami.
Biography
Her father was a mason and her mother, a teacher. She became a model after being spotted at the age of 16 during a national talent search.
She was featured on the cover of the 2003 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue but appeared also in the editions of 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. She has also modeled for Victoria’s Secret, and for many other companies in the women’s clothing market. In addition to working with world class photographers on her Sports Illustrated shoots, she was the object/subject of Joanne Gair’s body painting work. On 3 June 2004, she was one of the telecast judges during the 53rd annual Miss Universe competition in Quito, Ecuador.
The 2004 tsunami
During the Indian Ocean earthquake of 26 December 2004, Petra was at the Khao Lak resort in Thailand with her main photographer and fiancé, Simon Atlee when the tsunami struck where they were staying. 2006-2007: Career Transition
Cuthbert’s next film project was the indie film The Quiet, which she not only co-starred in but also co-produced and helped finance. She played Nina, a temperamental 17-year-old cheerleader who suffers from sexual abuse. Cuthbert looked to her younger cousin for inspiration as to how to play a teenager. The Quiet, distributed by Sony Pictures Classics, premiered at the 2005 Toronto International Film Festival and received a limited release in Los Angeles and New York City on August 25, 2006, before expanding regionally on September 1.
Cuthbert appeared in the music video for Weezer’s “Perfect Situation” in early 2006, where she played the group’s fictional original singer who threw a tantrum that led to Rivers Cuomo, the unlikely roadie, becoming the frontman of the band. Cuthbert also had a small role in Paris Hilton’s music video for the song “Nothing In This World”.
In 2007, Cuthbert appeared in the film, Captivity, a thriller centered around a fashion model taunted by a psychopath who has imprisoned her in a cellar, a role for which she was nominated for a Razzie award as worst actress.
In He Was a Quiet Man, Cuthbert played Vanessa, a quadriplegic. The film was in limited release in 2007 and release on DVD in early 2008.
2008-present: Current and Future Projects
Cuthbert is slated to voice Cleo, “the feline daughter of a wealthy kitty litter baron”, in Cat Tale, an animated film set in a civilized world of cats and dogs. Read more …

Career
In 2007, Chanelle appeared on the eighth series of the UK’s Big Brother. She proved a very popular housemate, both with her fellow contestants and the viewing public. Chanelle began a relationship with another contestant, Ziggy, while in the house, and their relationship was the main focus of the show for many weeks until Chanelle eventually left the house on day 62. Outside of the house, Chanelle and Ziggy attempted to rekindle their romance, but it was short-lived and eventually they went their separate ways.
Following her appearance in Big Brother, Chanelle became a favourite of the press in the UK, and she appeared many times in newspapers and magazines doing photo shoots and interviews.
In May 2008, Radio 1 declined to add her debut single to the playlist, despite interviewing her on the Chris Moyles breakfast show. In May she also topped a poll by Domino’s Pizza, to find Britain’s least talented celebrity. In June, she stated her “fame may be over” as TV producers started putting her television ideas on hold. In August the organizers of V festival reportedly declined her request to sing.
Chanelle is said to be in talks about a new TV dating show.

Christine Flores (born September 26, 1981), better known by her stage name Christina Milian is an American R&B and pop singer-songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actress. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Milian moved to Los Angeles when she was thirteen years old, desiring to be an actress.
Milian’s self-titled debut album spawned the singles “AM to PM” and “When You Look at Me”. Both singles peaked in the top three on the UK Singles Chart, but the album did not sell many copies. Milian’s second studio album, It’s About Time, was not a commercial success, but received a Grammy Award nomination for “Best Contemporary R&B Album”.
The album’s lead single, “Dip It Low”, became Milian’s biggest hit to date, and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America for digital sales. The album’s second and final single, “Whatever U Want”, failed to reprise the success of the lead single, but again reached the top ten in the UK. Milian’s third studio album, So Amazin’, featured Cool & Dre on the majority of the production. The album’s only single, “Say I”, saw moderate commercial success worldwide, as did the album itself.
Just a month after the release of her album, Milian’s representative confirmed that she had left the Island Def Jam record label due to “creative differences”. 2008 parody Presidential campaign
On August 6, 2008, Paris appeared in a 1 minute 50 second long video, “Paris Hilton Responds to McCain Ad”, directed by Adam McKay and posted on the Funny or Die website.
The video featured Paris in a parody advertisement, and was made in response to a television campaign advert “Celeb”, broadcast in 11 US states by the 2008 John McCain presidential campaign. In Celeb, McCain briefly compared his rival Barack Obama to that of celebrities such as Paris and Britney Spears, and goes on to question his readiness to lead and criticise his energy policy.
In what The Washington Post opined “might just be her best acting role yet,” Hilton appears wearing a leopard print swimsuit. She starts out by suggesting that her personal mention by McCain means that she must now be a candidate in the presidential race, and goes on to mock McCain, and critique the expected qualities and lifestyle of a celebity in comparison to that of a US president. In a 30 second segment, in the style of an academic speaker, Paris compares and contrasts the policies of McCain and Obama for solving the US energy crisis, and goes on to propose a ‘compromise solution’ combining elements of both.
