Levine to Adapt Zombie Story Warm Bodies

Jonathan Levine (The Wackness, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane) will write and direct an adaptation of Isaac Marion’s zombie romance novel “Warm Bodies” for Summit Entertainment.
The story centers on an existentially tormented zombie who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one of his victims and starts a chain reaction that will transform him and his fellow zombies.
Bruna Papanadrea is producing through her Make Movies company and Laurie Webb and Cori Shepherd Stern will executive produce.

SYNOPSIS
Mandy Lane (Amber Heard) is an unattainable object of adolescent lust for all the boys in her high school. As night falls, joints are rolled, kegs are drunk and pills are popped, with Mandy maintaining a polite distance from all of the debauchery.
