The firefights in F.E.A.R. are unlike any you’ve ever experienced in a shooter.

It has been 18 months since we got our first glimpse at F.E.A.R., and right from the beginning we knew that this game would be something special. F.E.A.R. promises to combine incredibly wild gunplay with atmospheric horror like no other game to date. With this highly anticipated shooter finally set to arrive in stores next week, we got our hands on the final game to begin work on the review. But before we weigh in with our final verdict, we thought you’d appreciate some impressions on the final game.

In F.E.A.R., you are the newest member of the military’s elite First Encounter Assault Recon team, tasked with investigating, and dealing with, paranormal threats. You’re in for a heck of a first day on the job, too, because you and your team are sent in after Paxton Fettel, a rogue officer, who takes command of a battalion of elite, cloned soldiers and sets them loose in the confines of a city. ‘Triangular’ UFOs spotted near Wrexham - VIDEO

STRANGE, dazzling lights flying slowly through the night sky have been reported near Wrexham, sparking a new scare.

The Evening Leader has been inundated with calls reporting the triangular shapes over Rhos, as well as sightings in Johnstown and Borras.

The incident, the latest in a long line of sightings in the town, is strengthening claims that the town is fast becoming a hotspot.

Janet Bancroft, 28, and partner Mark Pluke, 24, both witnessed the dazzling lights from their home on Maes-y-Ficerdy, Rhos, after Mark had gone to put the rubbish out.

According to the couple, the lights, spotted at about 7.40pm, formed into a slow-moving triangle before eventually disappearing from view some 20 minutes later.

Janet said: “It was really strange. They formed into a ‘V’ shape and then into a triangle which sort of got bigger and bigger.”

Some have dismissed the phenomenon as Chinese lanterns or low-flying aircraft. Janet, however, is not so sure. Read more …

The Deserted Inn (Chinese) 2008, Plot, Summary and Trailer

Plot:
Based on the novel “Huang Cun”, in this thriller Kenny Kwan stars as a music composer Meng Fan, whose career has hit rock bottom when he’s unable to come up with another surefire hit after “Sorry I love you”, which launched his career a few years back.

He has also just split up with his long time girlfriend, HE Ying when she pressures him to get married. One day when surfing the internet, he comes across an old town named “Huang Cun”, which has picturesque scene of golden flowers and bamboo forest, as well as a a local inn aptly named “The Deserted Inn” with the legend of a beauty called “Rouge”.

In an attempt to take his mind off his problems and seek inpiration to write the next hit song he sorely needs, he sets out for a journet to “The deserted inn”. Upon checking into the inn, MENG Fan encounters a series of strange events - he hears Rouge’s singing every night and sometimes sees strange people wearing traditional Ming dynasty clothes on the street corners vanishing in just a blink.

He is having nightmares that push him to the verge of a nervous breakdown, until he unveils the hidden past of the innkeeper… Read more …

But what exactly does that mean for the two girls now haunted by scary dreams that seem all too real?

Summary:
