Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970) is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress of Irish and Afro-Venezuelan descent. She made her recording debut in 1990 under the guidance of Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola, and became the first recording artist to have her first five singles top the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Following her marriage to Mottola in 1993, a series of hit records established her position as Columbia’s highest-selling act. According to Billboard magazine, she was the most successful artist of the 1990s in the United States.
Following her separation from Mottola in 1997, Carey introduced elements of hip hop into her album work, to much initial success, but her popularity was in decline when she left Columbia in 2001, and she was dropped by Virgin Records the following year after a highly publicized physical and emotional breakdown, as well as the poor reception given to Glitter, her film and soundtrack project. In 2002, Carey signed with Island Records, and after a relatively unsuccessful period, she returned to pop music in 2005. Read more …

The first season of The Hills premiered on MTV in May 2006. The series documents Conrad’s work at Teen Vogue along with her life and the lives of her friends, including then-roommate Heidi Montag.
MTV renewed The Hills for a second season, which filmed from late summer 2006 through February 2007. Throughout that time the friendship between Conrad and Montag deteriorated as Montag increasingly spent her time with her new boyfriend, Spencer Pratt. By February 2007, Audrina Patridge, another person featured on The Hills, replaced Montag as Conrad’s roommate after Montag moved into a separate apartment with Pratt, effectively ending the friendship.
The third season began on August 13, 2007 in the United States. Things quickly ignited between Lauren and Heidi as rumors swirled between seasons. Heidi was supposedly to blame for the rumors which helped to solidify Lauren’s prior feelings towards her ex-best friend. Through all of the rumors, Lauren and Brody began to grow closer than ever just before she got her second chance of going to Paris with Teen Vogue. Read more …

An e-card is similar to a postcard or greeting card, with the primary difference being that it is created using digital media instead of paper or other traditional materials. E-cards are made available by publishers usually on various Internet sites, where they can be sent to a recipient, usually via e-mail. It also considered more environment friendly compared to traditional paper cards. E-card businesses are considered environmentally friendly because their carbon footprint is generally much lower compared to paper card companies and because paper is not used in the end product.
E-cards are digital “content”, which makes them much more versatile than traditional greeting cards. For example unlike traditional greetings, e-cards can be easily sent to many people at once or extensively personalized by the sender. Conceivably they could be saved to any computer or electronic device or even viewed on a television set, however e-card digital content has not yet progressed as far as digital video or digital audio in terms of varied usage.
Usage:
Typically an e-card sender chooses from an on-line catalog of e-cards made available on a publisher’s web site. After selecting a card, the sender can personalize it to various degrees by adding a message, photo, or video. Finally the sender specifies the recipient’s e-mail address and the web site delivers an e-mail message to the recipient on behalf of the sender. Read more …

In 1991, Meldac funded the recording of Hewitt’s first album ‘Love Songs’, when she was just 12. The album was only released in Japan in 1992 where Hewitt became a pop star. Her explanation for her success in Japan is that the Japanese “love perky music. The poppier the music, the better.”
After she joined the cast of Party of Five in 1995, she signed to Atlantic Records, who rushed her first single and second album Let’s Go Bang out in October.
Juggling her music career with her acting career, she recorded her follow-up in 1996. The first single, “No Ordinary Love”, failed to chart and led to the album doing the same. Atlantic dropped Hewitt, who didn’t return to the music scene for 3 years.
In 1999, she recorded the single “How Do I Deal” for the I Still Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack. The song became Hewitt’s first charting single by climbing to #59 on the Hot 100 and #36 on the Top 40 Mainstream. It also reached #8 in Australia. Read more …
