This Halloween season in Salem, journey into the unknown with renowned professional ghost hunter and radio personality Ron Kolek as you learn modern techniques of paranormal investigation! Founder of the New England Ghost Project and co-host of popular radio show “The Ghost Chronicles,” Kolek has explored and documented some of New England’s most haunted houses. This October, he and his team of ghost hunters will share their adventures in the haunted city of Salem Massachusetts!

You don’t have to be a psychic to prove the existence of spirits. With the right equipment, you can develop the skills necessary to begin your own ghost hunting expeditions! Learn to examine evidence of potential haunting to determine whether unexplained phenomena are the result of authentic supernatural manifestation. Using real-life ghost hunting gear, you’ll conduct your own paranormal investigation into the presence of spirits within The Hawthorne Hotel, Salem’s most haunted hotel!

• Explore methods of ghost photography using infrared, digital, and even disposable cameras, and learn to identify the different kinds of photographic manifestation, such as orbs, apparitions, and ectoplasm.
• Work with EMF (electro-magnetic field) meters and temperature sensors to detect if mysterious changes in the environment could be the cause of spirit activity.
• Learn to capture ghostly voices with EVP (electronic voice phenomena).
• Witness a gallery of ghost photos that show inexplicable phenomena captured on film. Spirits? A trick of the lens? Decide for yourself!
• Special Guest on October 17th! Paranormal investigator Patrick Burns from the TruTV television show, Haunting Evidence and Marley Gibson author of the highly acclaimed Ghost Huntress series. Together they have investigated hundreds of haunted places including the Queen Mary, Eastern Penitentiary, and many others and just recently have written the book The Other Side.
• Hear chilling tales of true Salem hauntings.
• Meet Ron’s co-host of “The Ghost Chronicles,” psychic investigator Maureen Wood, as she uses dowsing rods to detect the presence of spirits, demonstrating how technology and psychic awareness can work hand in hand.
