In our continuing efforts to provide you, our guests, with unique and exciting opportunities in the world of investigation, American Tours, LLC, parent company of Orlando Tours, Inc. and Southern Ghosts, is proud to announce that on Halloween Saturday 31st, 2009 we will be conducting another 4-hour group investigation of the historic and haunted Lighthouse and Museum, just outside the beautiful city of , .

tybee-islandBeginning at 8:00pm on Halloween, you will have an opportunity to work alongside American Tours’ expert team of investigators, boasting over 30 years of combined experience. Explore the legendary lighthouse at , the Head Keeper’s Cottage, the Museum, and several other buildings on this fascinating property…each rich in history and steeped in mystery. During the investigation, you will have the opportunity to use camera equipment, electromagnetic frequency measuring devices or EMF detectors, and digital thermometers, used to measure temperature fluctuations inside a building. In addition, guests will be able to conduct experiments designed to record EVP or electronic voice phenomena. All this and more, inside one of America’s true jewels of the coastal south. Please join us for what is certain to be an evening to remember.

And if you are still eager for more late night hunting after the investigation of the Lighthouse, we have just arranged to have additional access to Moon River Brewing Company on Halloween night, immediately after our investigation of the lighthouse! We have received special permission to go inside Moon River for an extended investigation from midnight until 2:30am! American Tours is the only investigative company that has been approved to conduct investigations of Moon River during Halloween weekend. Long after the streets of are silent, we will be going inside Moon River to continue our investigation of the city’s most haunted properties. Now, you don’t have to stay up with us if you don’t want to, but the opportunity for you is there. The perfect grand finale to our Halloween weekend of hunting!

A significant portion of the proceeds from this event is being donated to the Historical Society for the continued preservation of the Lighthouse and the Museum. The Lighthouse investigation includes:

The event starts at 8:00pm and runs until 12:00am. We usually recommend being at the lighthouse about 15 minutes prior to the start of the event.

We do encourage photography of all kinds so please feel free to bring whatever type of camera you wish to bring. The only thing we ask is that if you do happen to capture something interesting on film, video, or audio, please let us have a copy of it for our records and research.

This is a truly unique opportunity to delve into a subject matter that so many people find intriguing and curious.
