Haunted Road at Oxford Ohio Video

Oxford, Ohio - Miami University. Park on corner of Earhart Road facing Oxford Milford Rd. There are plenty of “Do not park” signs. So obviously they’re there to discourage people to try this. If you do flash your lights 3 times with you car turned off.

May I remind you, this sounds easy. But when you start driving out there - it’s in a very quiet and dark country road. Turning your car off for about 10-15 minutes in a pitch black country road with surrounding forest and old farming fields is not as easy as it sounds.

Anyway, this video is taken with a digital camera video record. This is crazy cool though.

Here is all I know:
I’m for-sure we saw a freaky looking light that did not look like a car light. A different design than that. Almost magic how it just appeared and how bright it was. Brighter than a car light would be. It’s hard to tell on this resolution though. We first saw a red light, a white bright light, then a quick red light. The last light was not caught on camera. You notice the light when it gets close even reflects off my car hood/window. I regret not staying longer. Next time I will.

So here is the story, Brad and I went to a haunted road near Miami Oxford’s Campus in Ohio. The story is that a guy and a girl used to date, and the girl’s parents didn’t approve. She would sneak out at night and go to the bottom of his street and flash her brights in her car. He would see it from the top of the street, and drive down on his motorcycle to meet up with her. There are three rather large hills on the street, and one night, while going down to meet up with the girl, the boyfriend went down one of the hills and hit a kid riding his bike, killing them both. Now, if you go to the street and flash your brights at the bottom of the street, you can see the boyfriend and his one single light from the motorcycle coming towards you. Some people see a red light at the beginning and/or at the end (some speculate it could be reflectors from either bikes) Apparently the girl hung her self days later in front of the barn you park in front of (which is currently torn down).

Two freaky things I’ve heard, but could be lies:

1. I’ve heard the young boy will eventually come up to the car with a mad look on his face. (I would park there for at least a few more minutes after light leaves).

2. Also heard if you look behind your car you can see the girl hanging from the tree. (sounds a little bogus)

This part is true though- people drive and chase the light and it will just vanish - in case you try doing that. Also, apparently you can hear the motorcycle too and/or you can feel a cold chill in the car.

This ghost sighting is over 30 years old, if anyone has any old achieves of it- let me know.
