And Here We Have Top 10 Money Making Movies of 2008!

December 27, 2008 / 3919

Take a look back at the films of 2008 and which were , its an impressive list of films! From Nielson we have the final numbers on the of 2008. For a change I can say that most of the films that made this list are very much deserving with few exceptions.

It is of course important to keep in mind that by the end of the year these numbers will very likely change drastically. The data does not include any holiday Box Office numbers and the Holidays are a HUGE draw for movie goers. As it stands right now though here are the Top 10 of 2008

1 Warner Bros. $530,540,881
2 Paramount $318,313,199
3 Kingdom of the Crystal Skull Paramount $317,023,851
4 Sony $227,946,274
5 Disney $223,704,223
6 Paramount $215,434,591
7 Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Paramount $165,653,852
8 Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who Fox $154,529,439
9 Warner Bros. $152,647,258
10 Sony $151,620,134

Dark Knight, and were all fun comic book flicks that I enjoyed immensely. was a bit over rated but still a fun action comedy with a hero twist. goes without saying is one of the I have seen in a VERY long time. It is a must buy!

Horton Hears a Who was ‘ok’ but did not live up to the magic of Wall E. I passed on since I am the wrong demographic and as for I was quite frankly not impressed with the last film and felt the new film lacked the magic from what I saw… of the original bonds. Last but not least there is 4 which although it was action packed and fast paced for me did not live up to the magic of the original. On this list which are your favs?
